Treasure – Brazil / Germany / Japan 2019 -2020

The career as theatre designer started by working with the renowned director Antunes Filho (Augusto Boal`s contemporary ideas) and with the theatre designer JC Serroni , at the Macunaima Theatre Company, where I stayed working for 6 years. During this period, I had also been invited to design my own shows , as well as for TV, Cinema, Fashion Show s. Later on my work was focused on major exhibitions projects combining theatricality, performance and art installation to make place for collection and thematic exhibitions.

I have also been working in close cooperation with a Theatre Company – Paideia – dedicated to social, cultural and educational projects with communities in Sao Paulo, focused on children and youth, mostly living in vulnerable areas. The latest project as Set Designer was for the co-production TREASURE between Paideia (Brazil). D`Haus (Germany) and MA Co. (Japan).

Being at PQ for six editions, since 1995, I developed my own way to think and design for/as performance , leading to a recognised work as curator as well. I am currently working as a freelancer curator, educator, designer and performance director, combining the creative practice, technical ,production and educational skills to create and delivered independent projects, giving space for artists from all around the world to work in collaboration.
