A PQ’15: SHARED SPACE MUSIC WEATHER  POLITICS  anuncia o Simpósio  „PQ Transformations“ que acontecerá de 16 a 18 de MArço de 2016, em Praga, e tem como objetivo o olhar e a reflexão sobre as mudanças e o desenvolvimento do evento nos últimos quinze anos. Convida aos interessados a submeterem papers e anuncia os nomes dos palestrantes convidados.

Symposium „PQ Transformations“ Keynote Speakers Announced

We are very pleased to announce preliminary list of keynote speakers for the Symposium Transformations of the Prague Quadrennial since 1999 (March 16-18, 2016, Prague). The symposium will take place one year after the 13th edition of the Prague Quadrennial held in 2015 and aims to summarize the fundamental developments in the event over the last fifteen years.

Keynote speakers:

Arnold Aronson (US), theatre historian and theorist, professor at Columbia University, General Commissioner of the Prague Quadrennial 2007.

Aby Cohen (BR), Brazilian designer and art director for theater, exhibition and cinema. PQ´15 Politics Commissioner.

Serge von Arx (NR), architect and professor of scenography, Commissioner of the PQ´15 Performing Space.

Rebekka A. Ingimundardóttir (IS), Icelandic theatermaker, Curator of the PQ´15 Makers Exhibition.

Tomáš Svoboda (CZ), conceptual artist, Curator of the Objects Exhibition and Architectural and Spatial Solution of PQ’15.

Beth Weinstein (US), architect and Associate professor, chair at CAPLA, University of Arizona.

Dorita Hannah (NZ), scenographer and theatre architect, Theory Sessions PQ´15 Curator.

The Call for Participation is open until November 15, 2015. Please send an abstract of up to 600 words and your CV before November 15 to pq@pq.cz. Authors will be notified by November 30th, 2015. Find out more here.
